Microneedling

Treatment Information, Risks & Aftercare

    • Microneedling is a cosmetic skin treatment that uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin.

    • These micro-channels stimulate the skin’s natural healing response, supporting:

      • Collagen production

      • Elastin production

      • Skin renewal and repair

    • Microneedling may be performed alone or combined with professionally selected topical serums to enhance results.

    • Multiple treatments are usually required for optimal outcomes.

    • Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Microneedling may assist in improving the appearance of:

    • Fine lines and wrinkles

    • Uneven skin texture

    • Enlarged pores

    • Acne scarring and mild scarring

    • Pigmentation irregularities

    • Dull or dehydrated skin

    • Overall skin tone and radiance

    • Improvements are typically:

    • Results depend on:

      • Skin condition

      • Treatment depth

      • Treatment frequency

      • Adherence to aftercare

    • Microneedling does not stop ageing and does not guarantee:

      • Elimination of wrinkles

    • Maintenance treatments may be recommended.

    • Sensations may include:

      • Mild discomfort

      • Scratching or vibrating sensation

      • Heat or tightness

      • Redness (similar to mild sunburn)
