    • Dizziness, weakness or symptoms of low blood sugar

    • Increasing pain, redness or signs of infection

  • This treatment may not be suitable if you have:

    • A known allergy to insulin or any component of Actrapid

    • Active skin infections or skin conditions that may interfere with wound healing

    • A history of hypoglycaemia

    • Diabetes, unless treatment is monitored and approved by a healthcare professional

    • Follow all post-microneedling aftercare instructions provided by your clinician

    • Keep the treated area:

      • Clean

      • Protected

    • Avoid touching or contaminating the treated skin

    • Use only products recommended by your clinician during the healing phase

    • Avoid active skincare products unless advised otherwise

    • Report any adverse reactions to your healthcare provider immediately

    • Proper aftercare is essential to minimise infection risk

    • Do not apply unapproved products to the treated area

    • Avoid environments that may expose the skin to bacteria during early healing

    • Alternative post-microneedling wound-healing options may include:

      • Standard skincare routines

      • Topical antibiotic ointments

      • Other regenerative topical agents
